“In Between” wins award at Tirana film festival

TEHRAN – Iranian director Aliyar Rasti’s short drama “In Between” has won the Ron Holloway award for best debut film at the Tirana International Film Festival in Albania.
Starring Saber Abar and Neda Jebraeili, the film is about Rana, a woman who is under investigation for a crime.
The Golden Owl for best film went to “Irina” by Nadejda Koseva from Bulgaria during the awards ceremony held on November 9.
Rene Eller from the Netherlands was selected as best director for “We”, while “The Greenaway Alphabet” by Dutch filmmaker Saskia Boddeke won the award for best documentary film.
